Merry meet!
Just a reminder that Daylight Saving Time will be ending in the US coming Sunday (Nov. 7); this will restore the offsets to the normal differences again.
Please keep this in mind when planning to attend events.

As of now, there is a free horse rezzer next to the FC Welcome Center. Just touch the horse and choose the type of horse you want. If you can’t decide, touch the sign and you will get a picture of all the choices, listed from tiny ponies to huge Clydesdales.
When you choose a horse, it will rez and you will be sitting on it. Turn your AO off. You get a HUD that let’s you control your activity, speed, and many other things, or you can just use the arrow keys on your keyboard to keep it simple.
Ride the paths of Faery Crossing. To get from island to island, use the fords, or just wade into deep water (and watch the fun animation). Form a faery rade by choosing to “follow” another horse rider – you can sit back and enjoy the view!
If you ‘stand’, your horse will wait patiently for a short time in case you want to get back on or have it follow you or lead it. If you don’t follow up with a new activity, it will eventually disappear.
You can always go back and get another horse!
Happy trails!

As most of you will know, coming weekend, Europe will go on daylight saving time, which means that the time difference with SLT will return to normal as of Sunday.
Please keep this in mind when hosting or planning to attend events.
Hi everyone!
This weekend, Fae in Europe and various other parts of the world will end Daylight Saving Time. This means that, if this is you, your time difference will lessen by one hour.
This is an indication for various time zones (sorry if I missed yours) until the US will cross over into Winter too:
Please keep this in mind while scheduling and/or attending events.
Dear Fae,
News at reached us that our Fae sister, Cleome Jewell, has stopped her dancing. She left this world late last week. She has been part of Second Life and The Faery Crossing for more than a decade and she will be sorely missed.
Her soul now drifts beyond the stars. Rest in peace, dear Cleome. Thank you for joining us and sharing your presence and rest assured that one day, we will join you.
Dear Fae,
By now, the term Covid-19 is known to everyone in the world. Many countries have taken the steps that they deem right for their situation, but everywhere, people suffer of this virus. This is not limited to those who have contracted it and have fallen ill, but also to their friends and loved ones and, of course, to the valiant medical professionals who are working so hard to help all of us.
We here at The Faery Crossing are happy and thankful that you have been on our journey with us. Whether you have been here for years or just joined this week, we are honored and overjoyed to have you as part of our Fae family.
There is no such thing as a perfect year and every year will bring hardships, disappointments, pain and anguish, just like every year will bring joy, happiness, smiles and love. Often, sadly, the hurt lingers far longer than the joy and we send our hearts out to all of you.
Where pain, however, is often found in great setbacks and impactful events, joy and love are most often seen in the smallest moments: a drawing from a son, daughter or niece or nephew; a much needed hug from your spouse or your parent; that beautiful morning that promises magic… these are the moments that count.
Wherever you are, whoever you are: from the bottom of our hearts, we wish you the most blessed of Yuletides and a wonderful , joyous and magical new year.
~The Faery Crossing
