Merry meet!
As most of you will know, coming weekend, Europe will go on daylight saving time, which means that the time difference with SLT will return to normal as of Sunday.
Please keep this in mind when hosting or planning to attend events.

Merry meet!
The Faery Crossing Productions is putting on a play! We will be performing “Queen of the Underworld”; a play based on Greek myth and the reason for Joanne’s wardrobe.
This will be a play by Fae, for Fae, so we need YOU. We will need actors (obviously), background cast, scenery artists, people with an abundance of sounds in their inventory, scripting peeps, and anything you might think would contribute.
Don’t be shy. If you’ve ever played pretend when you were a kid, you have more experience than we do.
Please contact Joanne Pevensey for more information.
Merry meet!
The Yule edition of the Magic Messenger, the magazine for Fae, by Fae, is out now! Your fellow Fae submitted some wonderful stories, poems, and some great original artwork.
A big thank you to the contributors and to Dawn, Astoria and Bugs for making all this wonderful magic happen.
Hi everyone!
This weekend, Fae in Europe and various other parts of the world will end Daylight Saving Time. This means that, if this is you, your time difference will lessen by one hour.
This is an indication for various time zones (sorry if I missed yours) until the US will cross over into Winter too:
Please keep this in mind while scheduling and/or attending events.
Merry meet!

Happy reading!!
Have you ever heard about something in folklore and was curious about what it means? Do you want to know more about the Aos Sí, the Tuatha de Danann, the Selkies or the Sluagh?
Now you can!
The Faery Crossing is introducing the Folklore Circle: a chance to gather around the fire for an informally led discussion of folklore topics, under the expert guidance of Toshiro, a folklore author and researcher, who will be happy to guide conversation.
We have created an idea box in the shape of a barrel with a green man on the front (just because we can) that you can find here. Just add your idea(s) in a notecard and dunk it in!
Hope to hear from you soon! Don’t be shy!

Hi everyone!
While Summer is still in full swing, we at The Magic Messenger are already working on the Autumn issue. But we need your help. The Messenger has always been by the Fae, for the Fae. Without you all, there is no Messenger.
So please send us your long and short stories.
Send us your poems and your limericks.
Send us your art.
Send us your recipes for food and drink.
Send us your jokes.
Send us your spirit and enable us to share it.
Don’t think it’s not good enough; it is.
Don’t think others aren’t interested; we are.
Don’t be shy; you rock.
Please help us make the Messenger as special as the people we make it for. You can send your contributions to Bugs Larnia inworld or, if you prefer, via email to fcmagicmessenger@gmail.com. If you want to publish anonymously, that’s fine. Just let us know.
Looking forward to your magic.
Happy scribbling,
The Magic Messenger staff.
Dear Fae,
News at reached us that our Fae sister, Cleome Jewell, has stopped her dancing. She left this world late last week. She has been part of Second Life and The Faery Crossing for more than a decade and she will be sorely missed.
Her soul now drifts beyond the stars. Rest in peace, dear Cleome. Thank you for joining us and sharing your presence and rest assured that one day, we will join you.
No. There’s no zombie apocalypse (mainly due to a scheduling conflict), but the High Faery Court and the Events Team want to pick your brain. Over time, The Faery Crossing has hosted numerous events: dances, Faelympics, quests, quizzes, and whatnot.
Now, we want to hear your ideas for new and exciting events. What would you like to see in FC? A fair? A new quest? Lessons on things like druidry or Fae lore?
It can be a weekly or monthly event, a yearly one or even a one-off. Anything that makes your inner Fae sparkle with giddiness. And while you can of course help host the event (with all help you require) or be involved in its creation, this is in no way an obligation.
If you have an idea, submit it to Jo Shamrock of the Events Committee. Don’t be shy, all contributions are much appreciated.
