Dinkie Downs is our home for the smaller folk: the Smols.
The Ancients among you will probably not remember it, as this addition is of more recent times.
It came to be after Qim Clover and Moz McGinnis attended Fantasy Faire as Dinkies in June 2022. While wandering the Faire, they noticed just how many Tinies, Dinkies, Petites, and Micros there were in Second Life, and that there was no dedicated place for them to gather within The Faery Crossing.
So that June, they set out to change that. And thus, Dinkie Downs was born.

Today, Dinkie Downs is a cosy little nook tucked away on the western shores of The Faery Crossing. It rests beside a peaceful cove, where you can splash about with the many toys in the cool, refreshing water. Once you’ve dried off in the sun-warmed grass, you can grab a snack at the airy Little Downs Mill Café.

If you’re in the mood for something stronger, wander over to the Dinkie Downs Community Centre across the way. There, Dirk Dinkie is always ready to mix you a fine cocktail, best enjoyed while lounging on the comfy sofas before the beautiful stained glass windows.
Like Dinkies themselves, Dinkie Downs is small, but full of joy. A place where those of a more diminutive stature can play, laugh, relax among their own kind, and share in the little things that make Dinkie life so delightful.
So next time you find yourself in The Faery Crossing, consider paying a visit to Dinkie Downs.
